Business nuggets at our 14th birthday
We celebrated with opera singer Louisa Beard singing happy birthday, I blew out a tall candle on a small Victoria sponge and via 10-second introductions we found out who Networkers were and what they were doing. Thanks to all who participated in this session which raised funds for our prison reform work. As I take no money, there are no admin charges so 100% of your donation goes to help returning citizens (we like this label better than ex-offenders) to reintegrate back into society. Your continued support is very much appreciated.
Our speakers excelled themselves. We learned from Nicola Cook how to accelerate sales and on her flip chart she showed us exactly how to do it. Kay White’s workshop took us through her life, the lessons she learned which she passed on to us which were to be more effective in communication, to have more confidence and also to be clear about asking what you want.
